Use this contact for user support, privacy questions, reporting illegal or harmful content, reviews of moderation decisions, account deletion help, or app-store review contact.

For account deletion help, contact support from the email address tied to your Spotty account when possible.

Report Illegal Or Harmful Content

Anyone can report a Discover spot, also without a Spotty account. In the app, use Report spot on the spot. Without the app, or to report content as illegal, email support@spotty.murri.me with:

  1. why you think the spot is illegal, or breaks the Community Guidelines, as precisely as you can;
  2. which spot it is: its name as Discover shows it, and where it is (a place name or coordinates), so it can be found; Discover spots have no web address;
  3. your name and email address (your email arrives with the message); for content about the sexual abuse of children, you need give neither, and may write from an address that does not name you;
  4. a statement that you believe in good faith that your notice is accurate and complete.

Spotty confirms receipt by email, reviews the notice, and tells you what it decided and how to contest that decision. A person reviews every report and notice, normally within 24 hours. If someone's life or safety is in danger, call the emergency number 112 first.

Contest A Moderation Decision

If moderation took your spot off Discover, or you disagree with what it decided on your report, tap Ask for a review or Review in the app, or email support@spotty.murri.me within six months, with the reference the app shows and why you disagree. The Terms describe the review.

Points Of Contact Under The Digital Services Act

Spotty's single point of contact for the authorities of the EU member states, the European Commission, and the European Board for Digital Services (Art. 11 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065), and for users of Spotty (Art. 12), is support@spotty.murri.me. Both can write in German or English. Users can also call the number in the Impressum, or report a spot in the app. Spotty is established in Germany and has no legal representative elsewhere in the EU.
